Region Örebro County Awards Cultural Grant We are proud to announce that Malin Dahl, director and screenwriter at Backa Studios, has been awarded this year’s cultural grant from the municipality of Örebro. The grant honors Malin’s artistic work and commitment and supports her continued film creative projects. Malin Dahl has, over many years, developed a strong and original voice in Swedish film, with a focus on character-driven storytelling and visually powerful narratives. The cultural grant enables her to continue exploring innovative ways of telling stories through both film and animation. 44e upplagan av Uppala kortfilmsfestival Festivalens Kortkort-program är en plats för ultra-korta, modiga och experimentella filmer, där filmskapare utmanar formen och berättandet i riktigt korta format. CITYWALK är regisserad av Malin Dahl och producerad av Johnny Wernersson vid Backa Studios. Uppsala Kortfilmsfestival är Sveriges enda renodlade kortfilmsfestival och en av Europas viktigaste mötesplatser för internationell kortfilm, med en historia som sträcker sig tillbaka till 1982. Att få vara en del av en så respekterad plattform betydde mycket för oss och för filmen. Tonight, May You Live premiered in cinemas across Sweden — and what a night it was!
